Abstract

When this understanding is accepted, the consequence is that some of the hadiths of the Prophet temporal and contextual. Hadith is the interpretation of the Prophet which is meant to be the guidance of the Companions in practicing the verses of the Qur'an. Thus, the study of the hadith contexts is, in fact, a very important aspect in our attempts to grasp the meaning of a hadith, to which we then practice.
